About Us

The South Central Region of EWB-USA consists of all active EWB chapters, both student and professional, within the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas.  The Region is administratively governed by the Regional Steering Committee, which is responsible for maintaining this website.

The primary functions of the Region are to promote interaction between its consituent chapters and streamline communication between its chapters and the EWB-USA National Headquarters.  Also, the Region presents an annual Workshop for hands-on, project-oriented learning and networking for constituent chapters.  Details on this year’s Workshop can be found under the appropriate tab above.  We encourage all chapters in the Region to attend this annual Workshop, as well as the EWB-USA National Conference, because the Workshop offers an opportunity for focused discussion of chapter and project issues specific to our local universities and professional groups.

For more information on the goals and projects of EWB-USA as a whole, please visit their Web site at www.ewb-usa.org.
